I create custom footbags for kickers who can’t find the right size, weight, or feel off the shelf.

I started kicking footbag in 1983 and won four overall world champion titles in 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996. I hold a Guinness World Record in kicking a fire sack and was inducted into the Footbag Hall of Fame in 2002.

Stitching footbags has been both a hobby and a vocation for most of my life! Selling footbags funded my travels around the world to demo the sport. I'd sew on the plane, kick on streetcorners, and share bags with anyone who stopped and showed an interest in the concept. Back in the early 1980s, it was impossible to find a good footbag, so a few kickers were hand-stitching the best prototypes available. I was invited on a trip to Paris to demo the sport and learned to make footbags on the train. We stitched hand-made footbags on the Centre Pompadou that houses France’s National Museum of Modern Art, and the bags sold like hotcakes. They literally were selling before they were done being stitched! This gave me a great education in the art and I've been expanding my knowledge ever since.

I still love to make footbags on a cozy evening at home.

HEJ, I’M ALLAN

Originally from Copenhagen Denmark, I moved to the U.S. after competing in several world championships there. I settled in Denver, Colorado, where I lived for 29 years. Now, I'm back in Denmark, living in the province of Sydsjælland with my wife and two dogs. I'm retired from kicking but am still an avid disc golfer.
